Sarah Carr Esq. is a 20 year veteran in the workers compensation field. She is a certified specialist in workers compensation law and serves as a Pro Tem judge at the Oakland Workers Compensation Appeals Board. She has extensive experience in handling a wide breadth of cases and is an accomplished trial attorney.

Ms. Carr is a member of the California Applicant's Attorney Association. She has served as an expert on several panels for CAAA at their educational seminars and has spoken on the laws of Apportionment, Depositions of Qualified Medical Evaluators and Medical Discovery as well as other legal topics. Ms. Carr, along with the other attorneys at Uriarte & Carr LLP, puts a premium on always keeping current with the law. She is fluent in the Spanish language and is dedicated to representing her clients to the fullest extent under the law. Ms. Carr also represents clients in Federal Longshore cases.

Sarah Carr obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). She graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude. She was invited into and is a member of the prestigious honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. After UCLA, Ms. Carr obtained her Juris Doctor degree in history at the University of San Francisco School of Law. She became a member of the California Bar Association in 1992 and has been a practicing attorney since then. Ms. Carr is one of the founders and a senior partner at Uriarte & Carr LLP.
